Citizenship
ODIS provides citizenship classes. We prepare our clients for their interview and test with the CIS before we complete their application for citizenship. Sometimes this means getting them enrolled in ESL classes prior to Citizenship Classes, we assure that our client is ready for their interview before we actually file their naturalization application because CIS has caught up with their backlog. It is only taking 6-8 months for their file to be approved and an appointment scheduled for their interview and test.
New Class Starting
The new Citizenship class begins Spring 2008
New classes start Monday, April 14, and run for 4 weeks meeting Monday and Thursday of each week. They will meet at Trinity Presbyterian Church from 7 pm to 9 pm. Cost is $10 per session or $80 total. Classes are to prepare persons for a Naturalization interview.
Classes are determined by need and number of students to fill the class Call and leave your name and phone number on the message machine When there are enough students to fill a class,we will add your name to our list Once we have enough to fill the class we will contact you with all the details.
- The Course is a total of 8 two hour class meetings and meet two evenings per week for one month
- The fee is $80.00 for all 8 classes. The fee can be paid in $10.00 increments with the first $10.00 due at the first class and the full amount paid by the time the class finishes and the certificate of completion is issued.
- Attendees must be able to read and write English.
- There will be no make up classes, so it is important to attend every class meeting since information is accumulative.

CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH CLASSES
Announcing Autumn 2008 ODIS Spanish Classes
The ODIS Spanish Class will begin meeting on Tuesdays from 7pm to 8:15pm; the first meeting is on September 2nd at Trinity Presbyterian Church (in a Sunday school room in the back).
The class is for everyone. Some people have more Spanish experience than others. I will teach with activities that should challenge beginners and be good practice for intermediate learners. We use the Spanish the Easy Way which you can buy very cheap on Amazon or some website like that.
The cost is $35 per semester, which is quite a deal if you add up that we have 15 sessions from September 2 to December 9 (with a week off for Thanksgiving). Additional donations are welcomed! All funds from the class go to support ODIS.
